The climate is changing. Higher global temperatures, an increased frequency of extreme weather events and changes in precipitation patterns are already affecting health, natural environments, living conditions and the economy. These developments make it increasingly important to improve our understanding of both risk and uncertainty.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NR collaborates with key actors to develop knowledge that can be used to address these challenges.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our competence is used to develop tools that provide realistic and reliable decision-making foundations, grounded in research-based knowledge. This work spans solutions that enable information extraction from satellite and other image data for environmental monitoring and mapping, to risk assessments of climate impacts on buildings and annual forecasts for fruit and vegetable yields.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
