{"id":33,"date":"2020-04-20T19:29:30","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T17:29:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nr.no\/?page_id=33"},"modified":"2026-02-04T14:25:47","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T13:25:47","slug":"nrs-masterpris","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/nr.no\/en\/about\/nrs-masterpris\/","title":{"rendered":"NR&#8217;s Master&#8217;s Prize"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-sizing-large\">The Norwegian Computing Center\u2019s (NR) Master\u2019s Prize is awarded annually to the best master\u00b4s theses submitted in mathematics and ICT at the University of Oslo (UiO) and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prize was first awarded in 2009, and is a collaboration between NR, the Department of Mathematics (UiO), the Department of Informatics (UiO), the Department of Mathematical Sciences (NTNU) and the Department of Computer Science (NTNU). The awards are issued at UiO and NTNU respectively, and the juries consist of employees from the institutes involved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By commending exceptional work, our objective is to motivate students to work hard and produce theses of a higher standard.
