This replication package accompanies the paper "Large Language Models: A Survey of Surveys" by Max Hort, Fernando Vallecillos-Ruiz, and Leon Moonen, currently under review. The field of Large Language Models (LLMs) is rapidly expanding, with new research published daily. As a result, research interest and progress in LLMs have exploded, making it challenging to keep up. To help navigate this vast landscape, this work compiles and categorizes existing survey papers on LLMs. Most of these surveys have been published or posted in the past few years, providing a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the field. We hope that our compilation can be helpful for researchers and practitioners who want to get a quick understanding of the key topics, trends, and future directions in LLM research. This record contains an overview of the data and taxonomy for our study, as well as a BiBTeX bibliography file. These sources include a total of 984 publications, collected up to August 2025, extending beyond the 424 surveys analyzed in the initial paper (PDF preprint). The data and preprint are distributed under the CC BY 4.0 license.
