Rights Retention Strategy
Norsk Regnesentral (NR, Norwegian Computing Center) wants its know-how to contribute towards a better society, and to ensure that its research results are made visible and easily accessible.
At the same time, our results must be handled within the constraints imposed by our duties of confidentiality and non-disclosure.
NR wishes to take advantage of the opportunities provided by Open Access for the publication and dissemination of new knowledge.
As a general rule, NR’s scientific results shall be published in open access media. With this policy, NR makes publishers of academic publications note that accepted, peer-reviewed manuscripts from the institution’s employees are made available online under a Creative Commons sharing license. This applies regardless of any later agreements with publishers.
