uTRUSTit Deliverable D.7.4 Ethics manual

This document is the Ethics Manual for the uTRUSTit project. It defines the ethical code of conduct for research within the uTRUSTit project. The aim of uTRUSTit is to raise trust in future network technologies by providing tools, prototypes and design patterns. These aspects should be taken into consideration from the ethical point of view during the project’s lifetime, from the requirements elicitation, development, implementation, and testing of uTRUSTit deliverables.
The ethics manual helps the consortium to take into account and work within the ethical constraints and relevant laws. The document discusses and supervises aspects like informed consent, volunteer participation in experiments, test procedures, and collection and treatment of personal data. The document also presents a relevant strategy for examining these issues.
