Privacy visualization requirements in the Internet of Things - A uTRUSTit FP7 ICT project note, 7.9.2012

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a complex mesh‐up of devices, infrastructures and services.
When connecting to a particular peer, users expose themselves to these infrastructures. This
report reviews techniques and knowledge concerning the communication of status information
about privacy and information security and trustworthiness to users of the IoT. Particular
challenges are the complexity and instability of the infrastructures, the miniature user interfaces
of smart things, and the arbitrariness and traceability of connections and device federations.
