A Global Partnership for Stronger Cyber Resilience (ResCri)

ResCri is a long-term collaboration between leading universities and research institutes across four continents. The goal is to advance education, research and innovation in cyber resilience within critical sectors – with particular emphasis on secure IT-OT integration and the human and organisational factors that make resilience possible.

The project brings together research institutes and universities from four countries across four continents, with deep expertise in cybersecurity, energy systems and information technology, building on established research partnerships in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The collaboration builds on the achievements of two established research initiatives in critical sector security and responsible AI.

Critical infrastructure faces growing cyber threats. ResCri is founded on the understanding that true resilience requires more than technology – it demands strong human and organisational capabilities alongside technical solutions.

The project will:

  • organise workshops and webinars
  • develop summer schools and guest lectures
  • promote researcher mobility
  • publish high-quality scientific articles
  • establish sustainable, long-term collaboration strategies

ResCri will strengthen international education and research collaboration, help close the competence gap in cyber resilience, and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals through improved infrastructure security, gender balance and global partnership.
