This document presents details from the implementation of the Location Finder functionality. We made a short survey of indoor-map formats and adjacent software that could be used for modelling. Further, we developed the database for the navigation finder, the data format, as well as how to create models. We propose and describe the Soundvision Indoor Routing Format (SIRF) in this document.
The location finder makes use of a map to facilitate the navigation functionality. The navigation is supposed to be performed indoors. The navigation accuracy will be ca. 1 m, so that small details in a room are not necessarily mapped.
