The ASSET (Adaptive Security for Smart Internet of Things in eHealth) project develops risk-based adaptive security methods and mechanisms for IoT in eHealth. The security methods and mechanisms will estimate and predict risk damages and future benefits using game theory and context-awareness techniques, will adapt their security decisions upon those estimates and predictions, and incorporates a systematic evaluation models utilizing security metrics for validation of the adaptation.
The ASSET 2015 two days final general meeting took place in Oslo at NR. Day one was presentations and discussion of the project’s status and progress report. There were very interesting technical presentations from all partners including PhDs. We also collected views about the research results so far and vision beyond ASSET from all partners. Day focused on self-assessment of the project as a whole and discussion on how to integrate the present ASSET theories, models, methods and mechanisms. We specified the remaining work of the WPs and deliverables in detail and way forward for the rest of project period with special focus on validation and final reporting.
