This research note is the combined Deliverable D5.1 and D6.1 of the VISITOR ENGAGEMENT project.We present an overview of visitor studies, a framework for studying visitor experience, some thoughts about developing a model for estimating a visitor’s engagement, and the main principles of the employed observation methods.
