Research Challenges in SSI in Secured Digital Infrastructures

The report explores the current state-of-the-art in Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) and addresses the remaining important research challenges, both with respect to governance and technological aspects of the four layers of the SSI stack. Further, the report outlines the use of SSI in onboarding applications and identity proofing in connection with video streaming.
